2011 Portland Indie Wine Festival
On Saturday May 14 this festival will happen again, and you should consider being there. The food is good and there will be many smaller, craft winemakers pouring their local wines. This is the event at which I have found several great promising rising star winemakers, such as Jeff Kandarian, Genius Loci, and others. The festival is a bit pricey, at $75. http://https://www.indiewinefestival.com/tickets/
